HOW TO PLAY

The formation marches side to side. Each time it reaches an edge it drops one row and turns around, and it speeds up as its numbers thin. Aliens drop bombs while you slide your cannon along the bottom and fire upward, sheltering behind three bunkers that break apart under fire from both sides.

Each wave brings a new alien type with its own speed, bombing rate and value, cycling after the fifth. From wave three, one alien breaks formation and dives at you, firing. Lose all three lives, or let the aliens land, and the game is over.

CONTROLS

KEYBOARD	Left / Right arrows (or A / D) to move, Space to fire.
TOUCH	Two arrow buttons to move, the big round button to fire.

SCORING

Front rows are worth 10 or 20, the back row 30, multiplied by up to 3 for tougher alien types. Shooting a diver adds 50.

TIPS

• Clear the outer columns first. A narrower formation reaches the edges less often, so it drops more slowly.
• Don't hide under one bunker for too long; it will not last.
• The last few aliens move fastest. Lead your shots.
